The Terraces of Boise in Boise, ID, a HumanGood community nationally rated as 2025-2026 Best Senior Living community for Assisted Living, Independent Living and Memory Care by U.S News & World Report, is looking for a caring and passionate Resident Driver to join our team! Our Driver position is responsible for greeting all residents, team members, and visitors in a warm, confident, and knowledgeable manner. She/he is responsible for ensuring the safe travel of the residents to and from their appointments. Works as a member of our team to deliver excellence in hospitality and customer service. She/he is responsible for assisting with carrying of packages, groceries, and luggage for transportation within the community. During slow times, this position will help with light maintenance/housekeeping. Schedule Available: Part Time, Tuesday – Friday from 10AM – 4PM, requiring some flexibility for early or late afternoon pickups Pay range: Starting at $17 per hour, depending on years of relevant experience Work Duties Must be able to meet physical requirements to lift, pull, push wheelchairs and gurneys with hospital admissions. Operates a motor vehicle to pick up, transport and return residents to and from meals, medical appointments, and/or other activities; Coordinates the pickup and delivery of Residents between various sites; Schedules appointments to service a maximum number of residents; Assists residents in and out of vehicles; Assists administrative team with administrative duties and/or tasked, as required. During slow times, this position will help with light maintenance/housekeeping. Performs other related essential duties as required. To be successful in the role, you would have: One to three years of driving experience with a clean DMV record (required) Must have clearance with State Department of Motor Vehicles with no serious violations (required) Must have a flexible schedule to accommodate minor schedule adjustments without advance notice (required) Willingness to help in other areas during downtime, such as with resident events, light custodial duties around common areas, etc (required) High school diploma or equivalent (required) Experience with the senior population (preferred) Experience in a customer service or hospitality position (preferred) What's in it for you?
