Seneca also provides vegetable products to other companies under various co-pack arrangements.Operate seed handling equipment at the basic level with some level of oversight by senior Seed Technicians and the Department Supervisor.Manufacturing experience, warehousing preferred. Forklift experience desired,
Basic Math,
basic computer skills, read, write and communicate in English, must be able to repeatedly lift 60 lbs, work in hot & cold weather conditions, dusty environment, stand, bend, stoop, use hands.
Follow all Safety Policies, Procedures and Work instructions
Understand the product location identification system.
Fully understand seed mixture prevention procedures.
Identify and immediately report operations or equipment problem to the Line Lead and or supervisor to prevent seed loss so in-plant efficiency and cost effectiveness can be maintained.
Maintain a safe & clean work environment for all employees by operating seed handling equipment properly
Other duties as assigned by supervisor (seed bin repair, welding etc.)
