We are seeking Receiving Personnel to join our hard working and
fast-paced team. Receiving Personnel are responsible for receiving,
ordering, counting, verifying, inspecting, and properly storing of
bakery ingredients, packaging material, and other miscellaneous
supplies in support of the bakery operations. Sanitors/Equipment
Cleaners will perform sanitation/cleaning duties in a manufacturing
environment coordinating all cleaning tasks with production
schedules to ensure minimal equipment down time. Sanitors will
maintain and clean all bakery equipment and surfaces according to
standards set by the company and the food manufacturing industry.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Receives, counts, verifies, inspects and acknowledges receipt of
items entering bakery facility; including ingredients, packaging
material and supplies being sure amounts and weights are
Properly stores and rotates bakery ingredients, packaging materials
and other miscellaneous supplies according to regulations and
Inventories, orders, maintains records, documents usage, and keeps
a sanitary condition of all items stored for use.
Provides the various areas of production with running stock of
ingredients or wrapping supplies as needed.
Ensures all work areas are clean, safe, and follows company
Must be extremely detail oriented with initiative toward work tasks
and demonstrates teamwork orientation and the ability to learn new
responsibilities related to position.
Must take accurate inventories and follow all company procedures in
relation to merchandise or supplies received.
Ability to use computer efficiently; including Microsoft Office,
Word, Excel, Outlook.
Will operate forklift, must become certified.
Interacts effectively with managers and all co-workers to
coordinate merchandise receipt & delivery.
Must show a good attitude and work ethics while working in safe
manner to perform job tasks.
Enforces Good Manufacturing Practices and Company policies.
Follows all company procedures accurately and safely and completes
tasks as designated.
Recommends ongoing improvement and receiving concerns with
Performs the cleaning of surfaces (floors, ceilings, equipment,
etc.) in the entire bakery; including internal parts and surfaces
of machinery and equipment.
Disposes of bakery wastes and scraps in designated areas.
Uses a variety of cleaning tools, buckets, mops, vacuums, brooms,
air pressure devices and pressure washers during the normal course
of a work shift.
Works in a safe manner at all times.
Periodically uses scissor lifts and ladders for scheduled

Assures compliance with government regulations.
Completes and documents period end inventory every four weeks.
Additional duties as assigned.
High school graduate or GED required.
Previous experience in similar receiving duties at a large
manufacturing or production employer is preferred.
Ability to work thoroughly and accurately to prepare orders, record
all data regarding orders prepared, shortages, etc.
Ability to quickly learn new job tasks and flexibility to work in
different jobs as needed.
Previous experience in similar sanitation duties at a large
commercial or artisan bakery is preferred.
Work experience in other similar commercial sanitation or
industrial cleaning environment may substitute.
Ability to work in a high temperature environment supporting fast
Must have ability to work thoroughly with attention to detail to
meet food safety sanitation standards.
Must be able to work efficiently to meet task completion
requirements during equipment down time.
Must be able to work any day, including holidays, or any shift.
Must have reliable attendance to meet employer's attendance
standards for 24/7 production facility.
