We are a true farm-to-table company with an integrated portfolio including food processing and food brands, phosphate mining, fertilizer manufacturing, farming, ranching and cattle production, and other enterprises related to agriculture.SummaryThis role minimizes legal and financial risk by assisting Simplot's Complaint Process Manager with internal workplace complaints and investigations in accordance with the Company's policies and procedures and at the direction of the Company's General Counsel. Reports to Complaint Process Manager.Key Responsibilities

  • Intake of jurisdictional/non-jurisdictional workplace complaints through Employee Reporting Hotline & routing to appropriate management--
  • Conducts investigations of jurisdictional complaints--
  • Prepares summary reports of internal complaints & performs other administrative tasks--
  • Ensures compliance with Company recordkeeping practices for internal complaints, investigations, and corrective actions--
  • Trains employees on respectful workplace, preventing harassment/discrimination, and internal/external investigators on conducting internal investigationsTypical EducationBachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or universityRelevant Experience3+ years related experience and/or trainingRequired Certifications
    • Workplace Investigations Certificate (SHRM) - preferred, not required
    • Association of--Workplace Investigators--(AWI) Certificate holder - preferred, not requiredOther Information
      • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
      • Excellent interpersonal, interviewing, and oral/written communication abilities.
      • Strong analytical reasoning skills.
      • Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with the multitude of stakeholders involved in the complaint and investigation process.
