Position Summary:
Under direct supervision, performs a variety of routine clerical, technical, or public service duties utilizing automated library systems and requiring a basic understanding of standard library practices and procedures within a specific functional area. Responds to and resolves common inquiries and problems, as well as a basic reference.
Essential Functions:
Performs intermediate library work involving service to patrons, collection and records maintenance, basic reference, office tasks, and/or related activities that support the daily functions of the library.
Provides public services activities including circulation, low-level reference, and customer service.
Carries out office tasks that provide administrative support for daily activities of the library such as sorting mail, shelving materials, and ordering supplies.
Minimum Qualifications:
Enrollment as a CWI student - credit or non-credit courses
High School graduate and 1 2 years of related experience required.
