Supervisor Starting Rate: $11.14 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists in preparation of food as assigned
Ensures meals served meet USDA requirements for a reimbursable
tray. Ensures that all kitchen tasks follow the District, State
Dept. of Ed., USDA, and Idaho Food Code standards Logs time,
temperature and amount of food prepared on production records
Completes serving and cleaning duties as assigned Follows proper
food handling to maintain food quality and ensure food safety
Serves meals to adults and students through the line during service
hours Uses proper operation of equipment to assure safety and avoid
damage to equipment Cleans and sanitizes all equipment properly
Ability to read and understand measuring devices Ability to read
and understand recipes and production records Attends all required
trainings and attains yearly Professional Standards training
requirements Supports the philosophy and mission of the Nampa
School District and the Child Nutrition Department Other duties as
assigned SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None QUALIFICATION
REQUIREMENTS: To perform job successfully, an individual must be

essential functions. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High School
diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; Eequivalent
combination of education and nutrition service experience
preferred. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATION: SNA Certification
Level 1, and USDA Required Professional Standards, minimum of 6
hours of continuing education/training yearly. ADDITIONAL SKILLS:
Ability to work with fellow employees, district staff and vendors
providing a quality level of customer service. LANGUAGE and WRITING
SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety
rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure
manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of students and/or
employees of the district. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add,
subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole
numbers, common fractions, and decimals. REASONING ABILITY: Ability
to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with
problems involving several concrete variables in standardized
situations. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a
variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited
standardization exits. Ability to interpret a variety of
instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
