First, what is a Variable Schedule?
We call it "Flex". The employee will work between 8 to 32 hours
per pay period (every two weeks). And according to their
availability and the needs of the department the shifts and the
hours will vary from week to week. There is no set schedule for
Flex employees. The ideal candidate is available days, nights,
weekends, and holidays.

The Patient Access Specialist is responsible for responding to
patient, provider, and department needs with a high emphasis on
customer service and accuracy. This includes, but is not limited
to, registration, scheduling, referral coordination, and general
inquiries from patients, providers and the general public.
We are looking for people who have compassion and a kindness for

times of need.
Key Skills for his job:
- Phone skills - the ability to clearly and calmly communicate
over the phone

- Administrative knowledge and the ability to pick up new
computer programs quickly
