The Garrity Family Medicine Clinic is hiring for a team-oriented and personable Medical Assistant for one of our physicians! This clinic is located on Garrity Road in Nampa near our Nampa Medical Center!

Position Details: This position will work one-on-one with one of our established physicians and will work with a team of other MAs, RN and Nursing Supervisor. The environment at the Garrity Clinic is one that is positive, trustworthy, and respectful.

In addition to rooming, obtaining vitals and medical history, the MA in this position will also be administering immunizations, assisting with minor procedures such as circumcisions, and also have the opportunity to be crossed trained in Urgent Care to help cover or float to these clinics.

An ideal candidate for this position, enjoys working in a fast paced environment, likes working in a strong team environment, has effective communication skills and enjoys learning new things.

Work Schedule: This position will work 40 hours per week, 4 - 10 hour shifts, Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, 7:30am - 6:00pm.

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program, or enrolled in an Associate Degree Medical Assistant Program and are eligible to take an approved credentialing exam (listed below), or have obtained credentialing from the Trinity approved list below plus one year of experience prior to hire.

Certification Requirements:

  • MA certification from one of the following required within 90 days of hire date:
  • American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA)

  • American Medical Technologists (RMA)

  • National Healthcare Association (CCMA)

  • National Center for Competency Testing (NCMA)

  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire

General Requirements:

  • Previous clinical experience preferred.

  • Customer service oriented attitude/behavior.
