We are looking to hire a Registered Nurse for the Main Operating
Room in our Nampa hospital.
As an RN at Saint Alphonsus Health System, you provide hands-on
patient care while collaborating with colleagues, maintaining
accurate documentation, and utilizing resources wisely. You serve
as a patient advocate by promoting physical, spiritual, and
emotional well-being. You also educate patients, administer
prescribed medications and treatments, and develop care plans based
on patient needs.
We are looking for an RN for our fast-paced Nampa Main Operating
Room. We proudly care for more than 300 patients each month with a
variety of injuries and illnesses--from scheduled elective cases to
emergencies. We have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art
equipment in our brand new facility and our department has a family
environment with positive colleagues and providers.
About this position: You will work in our surgery prep and
recovery department assisting in endoscopy and in our pain clinic
performing moderated sedation and assisting anesthesia providers.
This position works 8-hour shifts and some endoscopy call is
- Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN preferred)
- Licensed in the State of Idaho as a Registered Nurse as defined
by the Idaho State Board of Nursing
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from
either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required,
unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS
- ACLS and PALS certifications required within 6 months of
