We are looking to hire a Surgical Services Coordinator/RN for
our Main Operating Room in our hospital in Ontario, Oregon.
As an RN at Saint Alphonsus Health System, you provide hands-on
patient care while collaborating with colleagues, maintaining
accurate documentation, and utilizing resources wisely. You serve
as a patient advocate by promoting physical, spiritual, and
emotional well-being. You also educate patients, administer
prescribed medications and treatments, and develop care plans based
on patient needs.
About this position: The Surgical Services Coordinator works
with the OR Manager to coordinate the sub-specialty areas in
Surgical Services including the Main Operating Room, PACU, Pre-Op,
Day Surgery and Endoscopy.
- Demonstrated team, analysis, presentation, and interpersonal
- Intermediate computer skills including medical record
- Ability to work with a wide variety of people under adverse
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
- Three years of RN experience, with at least two years in
surgical services preferred
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Oregon
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from
either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at
hire, unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS
