As a MES Engineer, you will work as part of the Corporate engineering team to design, support and develop processes and systems that support the automation of our factories. In this role, you will lead and influence the work flows associated with processes designed to ingest customer data, transformation of data into data sets that drive product setup, assembly build instructions and machine integrations and more. Key Job Accountabilities:

* Develop applications using appropriate tools and systems. Must be able to learn new programming languages and demonstrate proficiency in this area. * Support the implementation of manufacturing systems software with follow on support to ensure all existing business requirements have been met with an overall improvement to operational efficiency. * Lead continuous improvement activities to review existing applications and determine feasibility of new applications prior to development. Monitor changes and enhancements in other systems to take advantage of new features and capabilities. * Serve as subject matter expert and data steward for all systems developed and maintained by the group. Provide direction for other groups looking to leverage other internal systems and data. * Work well in mentoring and utilizing supportive efforts of other department personnel to develop applications, implement changes, etc. and gain acceptance of new or revised processes and implementation procedures. Share best practices and experience from previous projects.

Additional Accountabilities:

* Support the development of a plan and transition of new manufacturing systems at a site to ensure readiness and comprehension of change. * Promotes the identification of new technology to lead in the identification of new methods to reduce cost in manufacturing systems projects. * Provides input when purchasing decisions need to be made for manufacturing equipment with regards to support for systems interface and automation. * Provide knowledge of the data relationships, business requirements and metadata attributed to all enterprise reporting repositories in assigned areas. * Understanding of electronic hardware, PCB population, SMT process techniques, module assembly and test. * Support development and adoption of company best practices for software. Support and champion user groups as required.

What we are looking for:

* A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering is required; a Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required. * 4 years of related experience is required. * Knowledge of IT architectures, SQL and IT infrastructure are highly desirable. * Previous MES experience is highly desirable. * We are willing to consider remote work.
