Clean Harbors is seeking a dedicated Class A Owner Operator to join our transportation team, focusing on delivering outstanding environmental and industrial service solutions across North America. In this role, you will operate a Class A vehicle, managing the transport and disposal of hazardous materials. Your commitment will aid in upholding our mission of ensuring safety, sustainability, and environmental responsibility. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to maintaining stringent safety standards in line with our corporate ethos while effectively managing their own transportation business. Transport hazardous wastes using Class A vehicles in compliance with federal and state regulations. Ensure secure loading, unloading, and timely delivery of materials. Maintain detailed logs of travel and cargo in accordance with company and regulatory requirements. Regularly inspect vehicle and equipment to ensure operational safety. Collaborate with dispatch and customer service teams to ensure efficient route management and customer satisfaction. Adhere to all safety guidelines concerning hazardous material handling. Strong driving skills and proficiency in operating Class A vehicles Knowledge of hazardous material handling and transportation regulations Ability to manage routes and schedules efficiently Effective communication and customer service skills Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics and maintenance Medical Insurance Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Hazardous Materials Endorsement (HME) Clean driving record DOT medical certification
