Job Description Job Description Position: Director of Design / Senior Architect Location: Boise, ID (In-Person) Overview We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Design or Senior Architect to step into a leadership role in our Boise, Idaho office. This is a long-term opportunity to lead a small in-house team of Architects and Designers on large, upscale Senior Living projects, along with a variety of other project types. This role requires collaboration with the Principal to develop beautiful, functional, and innovative building and site designs beginning with Conceptual presentations, Schematic Design, and Entitlement submittals. The ideal candidate will mentor junior staff, manage client relationships, and contribute to firm growth while maintaining high design standards. Key Responsibilities Lead architectural deliverables across all project phases, with focus on Conceptual Design through Design Development Provide creative direction to design teams Collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, consultants, and internal staff Manage client expectations, team communication, and consultant coordination Resolve complex design issues with innovative and practical solutions Produce graphic presentations including computer-generated 3D renderings Direct teams on building materials and detailing during Design Development and Construction Documents Oversee submittals and RFI review to ensure design intent consistency Participate in office initiatives and professional development activities Required Qualifications Licensed / Registered Architect (Required) Bachelor's degree in Architecture (Accredited program) 10 years of architecture and design experience Strong 3D modeling and drafting skills (Revit preferred) Full knowledge of architectural principles and practices Working knowledge of building codes, standards, and structures Experience managing full project life cycle through Construction Administration Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills Strategic thinker with integrated design and technical approach High attention to detail and accuracy Compensation Base Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 Full Benefits Package Relocation assistance available In-person role (Boise, ID) Company Description W3Global was established in 2006 in Fremont, CA with a vision: simplify the recruiting process and develop an industry-disrupting platform to connect candidates with clients.
