Job DescriptionWork Schedule: Must be flexible for daytime and early evening shifts Monday through Saturday.Basic Function: Responsible for the daily operations of a loan office. These daily functions include but are not limited to serving customers by providing product and service information in a warm and friendly manner, approving, and collecting loans, making phone calls, cash handling and filing.Our goal is to serve our customers. Whether you think in code, words, pictures, or numbers, find your future at Liberty Loans.Principal Responsibilities:Generate sales leads that develop into new customersGreet customers in a warm and friendly mannerBuild sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communicationApprove and collect loansUpdate account status regularlyAnswering customers' questions about specific productsPlanning a course of action to recover outstanding paymentsAnswer customer inquiries regarding products and services; suggest information about other products and servicesLocating and contacting customers to inquire of their payment statusAlert superiors of customers unwilling or unable to pay when necessaryFollow all State and Federal Laws and guidelines as requiredRequirements:Excellent communication and people skillsCustomer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different personality typesAbility to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectivelyBasic computer skillsValid driver's license and own dependable transportationAble to pass a background and credit checkHigh school diploma or GED equivalentSome college credits: degree preferredMinimum of one (1) year of customer service experience requiredTechnical aptitude, problem solving skillsPhysical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk, and hearAbility to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hoursThe employee is occasionally required to walk; use hands and fingers to feel, handle, or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus The work is performed primarily in an office settingThe noise level in the work environment is moderateThe duties listed above are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed.
