This role is pivotal in preparing patients for surgery and ensuring their safe and effective recovery post-operation. Assess patient condition before surgery and complete pre-operative documentation. Provide preoperative patient education and answer any inquiries to ease patients' concerns. Monitor patients' post-operative recovery and vital signs, ensuring complications are addressed promptly. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor responses. Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Prepare and maintain sterile and safe surgical environments. Discharge patients with postoperative instructions and follow-up care recommendations. Strong assessment and monitoring skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to operate surgical monitoring equipment Proficiency in managing multiple tasks under pressure High level of empathy and patient-service orientation Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid nursing license. BLS/ACLS Certification required.
