Job Description:
Employment Type: Part time Shift: Day Shift Description: Are you
looking for casual hours as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer? Saint
Alphonsus has a PRN opportunity for you. Our Sonographer will:
Perform diagnostic ultrasound, physiologic, and duplex studies on
patients of all ages according to approved protocols, ultrasound
exposure, safety, and established exam indicators including
spectral analysis and color Doppler displays. Schedules and obtains
history from patients. Evaluates the appropriateness of requested
exams and assists with procedures. Some travel between sites
expected. SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Registered
Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) by the American Registry for
Diagnostic Medical Sonography with OB/GYN. Nuchal Translucency (NT)
required within one year of hire. Basic Life Support for Healthcare
providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military
Training Network High School diploma or equivalent required.
Registered as a Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of
Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred. Bachelor's degree in
