Locum Tenens Opportunity: General Medicine Physician Near Nampa,
ID We are seeking a General Medicine Physician for a locum tenens
role near Nampa, ID. This position involves performing Compensation
& Pension (C&P) exams and Separation Health Assessments to
assist veterans. The position is PRN-based and ongoing, providing
flexibility to match your availability. If you have experience in
family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general
medicine with a background in compensation and pension, this is a

a flexible schedule. Position Overview: Position Type: Locum
Tenens, PRN basis Specialty: General Medicine Start Date: ASAP End
Date: Ongoing Shift Type: Days (flexible hours) Responsibilities:
Compensation & Pension (C&P) Exams: Conduct one-time,
non-treatment exams and separation health assessments for veterans.
Exams are primarily interview-based, with some physical assessment
(e.g., range of motion and muscle strength testing). No prescribing
or ongoing treatment required. Coverage Options: Option 1: Travel
and perform exams at a designated leased facility. Option 2:
Schedule veterans within your own practice. Work either half-days
(4-hour shifts) or full-days (8-hour shifts) depending on your
availability. Qualifications: Board Certification: Required in
Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, or other
general medicine backgrounds. Proficiency in: Musculoskeletal
conditions, diabetes, and cardiovascular evaluations. METs testing
and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological
conditions. Experience using a goniometer for physical assessments.
Certification Requirements: Board Certified physician. Active and
unrestricted medical license in Idaho. Willingness to complete DMA
certification (CME credits available). This certification is
necessary after privileging, though expenses for DMA certification
