System & Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) seeks an
Endocrinologist (MD or DO) to join our team of Advanced Practice
Providers and Certified Diabetes Care & Education Specialists to
expand our diabetes care & education clinic to become a diabetes &
endocrine clinic. The ideal physician for this role will have the
opportunity to establish a full outpatient focus to their practice
using a patient centered approach to care. The primary role of the
endocrinologist would be to care for patients in the outpatient
setting, being a resource for our multi-disciplinary diabetes team,
support referrals from the larger medical group, and partner with
system leadership in marketing and growing the endocrinology
practice. Requirements: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of
Osteopathy (DO) degree. Current, unrestricted MD or DO license in
Idaho; valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Board of
Pharmacy and DEA. Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA
Internal Medicine residency program & Endocrinology fellowship
program. Board certified or obtain certification within 3 years
employment. Previous experience in Endocrinology disease management
or chronic care management preferred. A strong medical background
and a desire to develop a practice to support a growing
multi-specialty medical group. In providing this support, you will
obtain Idaho and Oregon medical licensure to maintain and
strengthen the Health System s general internal program across all
communities we serve, including telemedicine. Obtain Idaho and
Oregon medical licensure and granting of privileges at SARMC-
Boise, SAMC- Nampa, and other health system affiliated hospitals as
needed Valid controlled substance registration with Board of
