Travel Nursing Job Details - Location: Nampa, Idaho (83687) – Idaho nursing jobs - Facility: Women's Services LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) – 14 LDRP beds - Assignment Length: 13-week travel contract (10/25/2025 – 1/24/2026) - Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00pm – 7:00am), weekends as needed - Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week - Estimated Weekly Salary: $2310 - $2470 - Floating: May float to St. Luke's Treasure Valley locations (Meridian, Nampa, Boise) within L&D, Postpartum, Antepartum, or as a sitter - Orientation: 4 shifts of unit-specific orientation provided Registered Nurse Qualifications - Active RN license (Idaho or compact state) - Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience required (3 years preferred) - Mother-baby nursing experience preferred (at least 1 year preferred) - Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE - Proven experience in attending deliveries, newborn care, triage, circulating C-sections, and postpartum couplet care - Proficiency with magnesium and titrating drips (Pitocin, Magnesium, Insulin) - Ability to float to other units/sites as needed within the healthcare system - Compliance with hospital dress code (hospital-issued scrubs) - Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility (travel nursing requirement) Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities - Deliver comprehensive care to laboring patients, including high-risk obstetric cases (32 weeks gestation, hypertension, TOLACs, gestational diabetes, etc.) - Assist with deliveries and C-sections (circulate and recover patients) - Perform triage assessments and staff triage beds as needed - Provide postpartum couplet care and stabilize newborns within the first hour of life - Titrate and manage IV drips per clinical protocols - Collaborate with OB hospitalists, Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, anesthesia, and resource RNs - Float to other St. Luke's Treasure Valley healthcare sites as required - Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC electronic health records - Uphold infection control and patient safety standards, including adherence to no acrylic/gel nail policy Apply now to join our dedicated healthcare team as a Travel Labor & Delivery RN in Nampa, Idaho, and take the next step in your nursing career!
