Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Experience: • 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months. • Must have at least 36 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Idaho license or compact license (required for submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted. • 12 months between Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - St. Luke’s Health System Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Additional Details: Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: The facility may make one off exceptions if previously employed at the facility, but exceptions must be approved by St. Luke’s Health System. Required Skills/Experience: Must have mother baby experience - prefer 1 year Must have experience and be able to attend deliveries and complete 1 hour of newborn care, triage, Circulate C/S, and provide Postpartum Couplet Care. Must have experience with magnesium. RNs required to titrate drips: Pitocin Protocol, Magnesium Protocol, Insulin drips (occasionally). Preferred Skills/Experience: Charge nurse experience preferred. Unit and facility details: Follow AWHONN Staffing Standards. 1:1 labor unless pairing 2 cervical ripening patients. Postpartum is 1:3 couplets care. Triage 1:3, if get up to 4pts will utilize Resource nurse. Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirements: No minimum requirement. Based on unit needs and requests. Holiday Requirements: No set requirement for travel RNs. Regular Staff have a set holiday rotation and there are 3 groups. May work a holiday if there is a need during contract. Floating Requirements: Float to all St. Lukes Treasure Valley Sites-Meridian, Nampa, Boise in primary skill set (L&D, Postpartum, or Antepartum) or as a sitter. 7 days maximum time off 1 reference from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission 1 reference from last 3 years (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission Driver’s license required for submission Certifications: • BLS (Basic Life Support) • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition) • STABLE (Sugar, Temperature, Airway.
