ICU Registered Nurse Job Details - Location: Nampa, Idaho (83687) –
Treasure Valley region - Healthcare Setting: Intensive Care Unit
(ICU), 10-bed unit - Assignment Length: 13-week travel nursing
contract - Start Date: October 25, 2025 - End Date: January 24,
2026 - Shift: 12-hour days (7:00am – 7:00pm), every other weekend
(additional shifts as needed) - Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1680–$1800 per week - Dress Code: Any
color scrubs (clean and professional) - Charting System: EPIC EMR
ICU RN Qualifications and Requirements - Active Registered Nurse
(RN) license – Idaho or compact state - Minimum 1 year of recent
ICU nursing experience - BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
required - Proficient in titrating critical care drips (Propofol,
Levophed, Dobutamine, Vasopressin, Fentanyl, Epinephrine,
Diltiazem) - Skilled in reading cardiac strips (no monitor techs on
unit) - Excellent teamwork and communication skills - Must reside
outside a 50-mile radius from the facility (travel nurse
requirement) ICU Nurse Responsibilities - Deliver high-quality
nursing care to critically ill adult patients (heart failure,
respiratory failure, sepsis, GI bleeds, stroke, post-surgical
complications) - Monitor and titrate intravenous drips as required
for patient stability - Collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists
(telehealth), respiratory therapists, and CNAs for comprehensive
patient care - Float to Telemetry or other ICU units in Meridian
and Boise as needed - Participate in 1-2 shifts of unit-specific
orientation for travel nurses - Maintain accurate documentation
using EPIC electronic medical records - Comply with all hospital
policies, procedures, and professional dress code standards Take
