ER RN Job Details - Location: Nampa, Idaho (Zip: 83687) – Idaho nursing jobs - Facility: Emergency Room (Trauma Level IV, STEMI & Stroke Receiving Center) - Assignment Type: 13-week travel nursing contract (Start: 10/25/2025 – End: 1/24/2026) - Shift: 12-hour evenings (3:30pm – 4:00am), every other weekend required - Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week - Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1680 - $1800 - Floating: May float to Meridian and Boise ERs (rare) - Charting System: EPIC - Orientation: 1 shift in the ER ER RN Qualifications - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Idaho or compact state - Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience - Experience with pediatric patients in the ER setting - Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC - Strong ability to manage ED patient flow and adapt to a fast-paced clinical environment - Excellent teamwork and communication skills ER RN Responsibilities - Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients of all ages in a busy emergency room - Assess, triage, and prioritize patient care based on acuity and clinical protocols - Administer medications, manage emergency department drips, and perform conscious sedation - Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams - Interpret cardiac monitor strips, perform EKGs, and respond to critical situations - Draw labs, initiate IVs, and provide clinical support as needed - Care for behavioral health patients in dedicated safe rooms - Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC electronic health record system - Support rapid room turnover and efficient patient flow in the ER - Float to other emergency departments within the health system as needed Why Choose Nampa, Idaho for Your Next Travel Nursing Assignment?
