Living by these virtues, we pride ourselves on exceptional service and the highest quality of care.We are looking to hire a Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department in Nampa.As an RN at Saint Alphonsus Health System, you provide hands-on patient care while collaborating with colleagues, maintaining accurate documentation, and utilizing resources wisely. You serve as a patient advocate by promoting physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being. You also educate patients, administer prescribed medications and treatments, and develop care plans based on patient needs.Our new state-of-the-art Nampa Garrity Emergency Department was opened in June of 2017. With 30 beds, we proudly serve a wide variety of patients in Canyon County. Some of our colleagues have the opportunity to float to our 12th Avenue ED, allowing for cross-training and increased knowledge. We pride ourselves on our level of commitment and integrity, as well as outstanding teamwork.Education:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)General Requirements:
  • At least one year of RN experience in an emergency setting preferredLicense/Certification Requirements:
    • Licensed in the State of Idaho as a Registered Nurse as defined by the Idaho State Board of Nursing
    • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Oregon (required within six months of hire)
    • Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required, unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS
    • ACLS and PALS certifications required within 6 months of hire
