• Work/life balanceAnd more!Job DetailsWe are seeking a Permanent Quality Assurance Manager to join our dynamic team in the Manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. This is a highly visible role that requires a strong leader with exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement plant quality management systems to ensure compliance with USDA Food Plant regulations
  • Oversee plant sanitation and rodent prevention programs to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Ensure compliance with AS9100 Quality standards and other relevant industry regulations
  • Manage food packaging quality control processes and procedures
  • Lead a team of Quality Control Inspectors to ensure that all products meet quality standards
  • Develop and implement ISO Quality Systems and HACCP programs to ensure food safety
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement APQP processes to ensure product quality
  • Stay up-to-date with USDA and FDA regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant standardsQualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
    • 3+ years of experience in plant quality management in a USDA Food Plant environment
    • Strong knowledge of plant sanitation and rodent prevention programs
    • Experience with AS9100 Quality compliance and food packaging quality control
    • Proven track record of leading successful quality control teams
    • Strong knowledge of ISO Quality Systems and HACCP programs
    • Experience with APQP processes
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
