PASSION to oursThe HR Manager provides assistance to a Sr. HR
Manager, members of the HR Team, and management. Supervises
Payroll, Attendance, and Open Enrollment. Contributes to completion
of HR priorities. Interfaces with employees to answer questions and
address issues. Follows HR practices.--Requirements----From your
EXPERTISE to oursKey responsibilities for this position
include:Updates job requirements and job descriptions for all
positions; coordinating placement of employment ads; tracking
incoming applications/resumes on a database used for
recruitment.Provide HR leadership and guidance to influence plant
management on HR priorities and items.Address employee issues,
including performance and discipline. Conduct investigations. Refer
to employee handbook, clarifying policies.Supervise and contribute
to Payroll, Attendance, and Open Enrollment being completed.Serve
as employee resource. Answers questions and addresses issues. Refer
to employee handbook, clarifying policies.Facilitate employee exit
process.Travel and/or extended or off work hours may be
required.Administers performance review programs to ensure
effectiveness, compliance, and equity within the
organization.Educates managers and employees on benefit programs
available.Displays passion and optimism; inspires respect and
trust; provides vision and inspiration to all employees.Answers
questions in regard to company policies procedures and/or programs.
Refers to policy and procedure manuals as necessary and maintains
awareness of climate within the plant, being sensitive to general
or individual problems.Performs administrative managerial duties in
an accurate, timely, and professional manner (Phone calls, voice
mail, paperwork, meetings)Demonstrates professionalism in all
aspects of plant s rules and regulations and encourages quality
personnel performance.Implements FMLA/CFRA/ADA and other labor
laws, as mandated by state and federal agencies; Monitors and
implements applicable human resources federal and state
requirements; conducting investigations; maintain records;
representing the organization at hearings.Ensures that a
post-accident drug test and medical evaluation is performed; sets
up the claim within allowed 5 day period; works with work wellness
on the company s light duty program and worker s compensation as
needed and reviewing/ monitoring the claim status.Conducts wage
surveys within labor market to determine competitive wage
rates.Collects and provides any necessary information for the
budget creation and implementation; and participates in the
operating budget, working to maintain budget goals and controlling
variance in the labor budget, especially due to overtime.Reviews
and approves all hours worked per payroll period for
reports.--Processes time off requests including ensuring requested
time is available and updating records to reflect time taken and
maintain employee records and leaves of absence.--Keeps open line
of communication with all employees and actively seeks ways to
improve employee relations.Take necessary measures if people are
performing unsafe acts or are in an unsafe environment.Apply and
enforce all quality programs.Take necessary measures when there is
deviation from policies and standardsComply with all Lactalis

following:EducationBachelor s degree or higher--Experience8+ years
HR experience required4+ years manufacturing experience
required--4+ years Management experience requiredExperience in Food
Industry preferredSpecialized KnowledgeHR systems--Employment and
Labor LawLabor costsSkills / AbilitiesMicrosoft Office, especially
Excel requiredHR Information Systems; Paylocity and KRONOS
preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to
